2017 LABOUR DAY PARADE & PICNIC INFORMATION


There are a few changes coming to the Labour Day Parade & Picnic. But, one thing hasn't changed: Labour Day is the first Monday in September--September 4, 2017.

The parade starts at its traditional time--10:30 am. However, the route has changed. Unions and solidarity groups line up on James St. N, north of York St., and march south on James, west on Main St., north on Bay St. to Harbour Front Dr. and into Harbour Front Park.

The BBQ/picnic and entertainment following the parade takes place at BAY FRONT PARK.

Tickets are $5.00 for a hamburger/hotdog and a soft drink.

Beer will be available for sale in a licensed area. Contact the Labour Council for additional information.
