2017 LABOUR DAY PARADE & PICNIC INFORMATION


There are a few changes coming to the Labour Day Parade & Picnic. But, one thing hasn't changed: Labour Day is the first Monday in September--September 4, 2017.

The parade starts at its traditional time--10:30 am. However, the route has changed. Unions and solidarity groups line up on Stuart St and head south on Bay St to Main St, east on Main St to James St, north on James St to Strachan St, west on Strachan to Harbour Front Drive and into Bay Front Park.

The BBQ/picnic and entertainment following the parade takes place at BAY FRONT PARK, featuring Annette Haas.

Tickets are $5.00 for a hamburger/hotdog and a soft drink.

Beer will be available for sale in a licensed area. Contact the Labour Council for additional information.
