For RSI Awareness Day (February 28th): WHSC offers WHSC Ergonomics-Basic Principles training for $20

From Nancy Hutchison, Training Service Representative, Workers Health & Safety Centre:

As many of our members, colleagues and co-workers know repetitive strain injuries (RSIs) are among the most common types of worker injuries. These types of injuries are painful and debilitating and often will change a workers life. The positive news is RSI injuries can be prevented.

To get the information and the tools you need for your workplace to prevent these injuries please attend our up-coming Workers Health & Safety Centre (WHSC) Ergonomic course being offered in recognition of International Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) Awareness Day February 28th. It is only $20 to attend this 6-hour course titled WHSC Ergonomics: Basic Principles. There are various locations happening around the region and I would ask as many as possible to take advantage of this opportunity. I am coordinating the Oakville course.

The registration link is below – Look for Ergonomics: Basic Principles and register.

Thank you so much for your help in getting the word out to your members to get involved with this rare opportunity for a WHSC 6-hour Ergonomics Course for $20 on February 28th.

I hope to see you there,

Nancy
