The President shall function as the chief executive officer of the Council. The President shall exercise supervision over the affairs of the Council, sign all official documents and preside at regular and special meetings.
The 1st Vice-President shall aid the President in the duties as chief executive officer of the Council and act on his/her behalf when requested to do so and shall preside at all Executive Council meetings. In addition the 1st Vice-President shall be the designated labour council representative on committees and/or community organizations and shall perform such other duties as assigned by Labour Council.
The 2nd Vice-President shall assist the President and the 1st Vice-President in their duties, including being the designated labour council representative on committees and/or community organizations and perform such other duties as assigned by Labour Council.
The Secretary is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Council. The Secretary shall keep a correct record of the proceedings of the Council, keep a record of the name and contact information of each delegate, conduct all correspondence and sign all vouchers and official documents. The Secretary is responsible for employees of the Council.
The Treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer of the Labour Council. The Treasurer shall record and deposit all monies received by the Labour Council, prepare a financial report for each regular meeting of the Executive Council and Labour Council and prepare the financial records for review by the Trustees or qualified auditor. The Tresurer will also sign cheques with the President or Secretary as authorized by the Council.
The Sergeant-at-Arms will record the attendance of delegates at every regular and special meeting of Labour Council, and verify the attendance of delegates as required. The Sergeant-at-Arms shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the Secretary.
