Day of Mourning 2026

A reminder that the HDLC will be organizing and hosting the annual ceremony for Day of Mourning on April 28th at 5:30 p.m. at the Hamilton City Hall Council Chambers followed by a procession to the workers’ monument.

If your union has names of any Hamilton workers who have died on the job within the past year, please let us know.

The procession will be followed by a reception with refreshments.
